Peter Sapi plays Charlie Conlon, one of the extras employed on the film ‘Quiet Valley’ and:
Simon – The ambitious first assistant director
Caroline Giovanni – The know-nothing megastar
Fin – a local lad employed on the film. Best friend to Sean
Jock Campbell – Miss Giovanni’s security guard and Rottweiler
Brother Gerard – The local school teacher
Clem Curtis – The rather aloof Film’s director
Mr Harkin – Sean’s father
Paul Harris plays Jake Quinn, another extra employed on ‘Quiet Valley’ and:
Aisling – the even more ambitious second assistant director
Mickey – A veteran of many films and the last remaining extra from ‘The Quiet Man’
Sean – A local lad not employed on the film. Fin’s best friend
John – Miss Giovanni’s dialogue and accent coach
Dave – a Cockney rigger
Interviewer – A newsman for RTE
