The
Winslow Boy
by Terence Rattigan
8 - 13 April

What price justice? A father fights to prove his young son's innocence of an alleged theft regardless of the consequences affecting the rest of his family. Set just before World War I and based on a true story. Rattigan's timeless classic provided an unmissable family drama.

Based on a true story of the same period, the play shows the price the whole Winslow family has to pay to prove the boy innocent. Performing the challenging title role was 15 year old David Rowland, who last appeared on the Playhouse stage in 'Shadowlands', together with John Hart, Stella Jarman, Emma Stewart and Michael Bate completing the Winslow family. Playing the famous role of Sir Robert Morton was Steve Hunt and other members of this fine cast included Barry Hooper, Dot Hamlin, Peter Griffin, Joanna Lovell and Kim Brett.
