Alan Bennett's
satirical merry-go-round in the home and surroundings of the Wicksteeds in
Hove. They put sex and satisfaction of the Corpus (body) before everything
else. It is the ruling passion of their lives, which the throbbing permissive
society pursues through a maze of mistaken identities and sexual encounters.
Bennett at his best!
