Erith Playhouse can be hired by community groups such as local dance schools, musicians etc. However, due to our own production schedule this is normally limited to the first couple of weeks of July and around the last week in January.
The theatre seats 171 and is fully adapted for disabled access. There is one wheelchair space with a carer’s seat adjacent if needed. The charges depend on requirements, but as a guide Erith Playhouse charges a basic venue hire per performance with additional charges for technical staff (per person). These are negotiable, as are rehearsal times and duration. We would require a 25% deposit, with the agreed balance due on the day of the performance.
Because there are so few dates available throughout the year, we do get booked up very quickly.

Once you are happy with Erith Playhouse as a venue the next step is to apply formally to the theatre Board of Management with your preferred dates. Please write or e-mail our company secretary (address below), outlining the type of show, the proposed dates and times of performances and rehearsals together with any staffing requirements you require. We can then agree the dates and total cost.
